Destiny Church delivers hundreds

of care baskets full of supplies

to local residents.

COVID-19 has presented many challenges to those in the greater Sacramento region, and the world for that matter. According to Mental Health America, they have experienced a 19 percent increase in screening for clinical anxiety. Many members of our community have experienced extreme isolation and loneliness, some not having any personal connection with someone for 40 days or more.

In a desire to meet this challenge head-on, Destiny Church came together and started creating care baskets that would be delivered door-to-door (within social distancing guidelines of our local county). In the baskets contained food, toiletries, baked goods, and a hand-written card from one of Destiny’s pastors.
