Destiny Church has made the decision to begin re-opening its facility for in-person gatherings.

A little over 12 weeks ago, our world was presented with a Crisis that none of us could have imagined. In compliance with the CDC and Federal guidelines, we made the decision to halt in-person gatherings to protect our congregation, our community, and help stop the spread of COVID-19.

Over the last 3 months, we have seen God open doors and reach people through our online campus that we would never have been able to before. Story after story has poured in from far and wide on God meeting them in their living rooms, cars, and homes through our Sunday service experience.

First, we want to say thank you. Thank you for engaging with us, worshipping with us, and staying with us through such a challenging time. To those that have financially partnered with us to allow us to continue to spread the Gospel throughout the World, you have our sincerest gratitude. You have planted seeds, and we are already seeing it’s fruit.

As our leadership team has prayed, stayed informed with public health guidelines, and evaluated the current landscape — we have made the decision to begin, in phases, of re-opening our church. We want to say first and foremost that your safety is our priority. We believe that operating from a place of wisdom and truth is our responsibility, and we don’t take that lightly.

On Sunday, May 31st, we will hold our first in-person worship gathering. We will be requiring registration to keep our capacity at less than 25%, we will mandate social distancing protocols, offering masks and sanitation stations, and will be cleaning every surface in-between services.

For those of you who have underlying health conditions, considered at-risk, or simply not ready to attend a service, we encourage you to stay home, and continue to worship with us on Sundays online or on CW31.

We believe that this is the right decision, and while we are moving forward in phases, we will do so in safety, wisdom, and with your health in mind.
