Camp Destiny

Camp Destiny is our Day Camp program for kids and preteens; it’s is a highlight of the whole year!

Kids entering 1st-7th grade in the Fall of 2025 can be campers at Camp Destiny.

This year at Camp Destiny, campers will join the “Quest for Courage”! Each week of Camp Destiny will feature unique games, activities, chapel times, and quests, so every camper can enjoy attending BOTH weeks!

Through engaging and intentional chapel times full of fantasy and wonder, campers will discover strength and courage in Christ.

"This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Only 2 weeks of Camp Destiny?

Camp Destiny has taken on many different forms all the way back to 2013. Our teams at Destiny look a lot different now! We are so excited to focus our efforts and resources into making these 2 weeks BIG , MEMORABLE, and MORE AFFORDABLE for our amazing Destiny families and friends!

  • What about my 6th grader?

This year, our Away Camp option did not allow for 6th graders entering 7th grade to join us at Old Oak Ranch for Kids Camp, so we want to help the 6th graders connect to the youth ministry team earlier in the summer by allowing them to attend the Youth Camp instead! They are also welcome to join us for Camp Destiny!

If you have concerns about your 6th grader attending Youth Camp, we recommend having a converstation with Alex, Pastor Andrew, or another member of the Fearless Team!

  • What should my child bring to camp?

We will send out packing lists to those who are registered as we get closer to the week of camp!

  • Who can volunteer?

We are taking a select group of fingerprinted, vetted adult leaders to serve with us at Youth Away Camp and Kids Away Camp. This team is already almost set, so please let the Destiny Children’s and Youth teams know if you are interested.

At Camp Destiny, we need a LOT of volunteers to make the week go smoothly! We are looking for students (current 7th grade and up) and adult volunteers to join the team.

  • What is the Destiny Force Program (for 7th and 8th graders)?

The Destiny Force Program is a leadership training program for students who are entering 8th-9th grade in the fall. We will accept a small group of students who will help make the camp program happen while growing in their own leadership skills and character. There is an $85 fee for Jr. Highers to join the Destiny Force team.

  • Can kids and students who do not normally attend Destiny come to camp?

Yes! Especially at Camp Destiny- we have the space for friends, cousins, neighbors, and even enemies to come and have a positive church experience hearing the encouragement of Christ in their life.

  • Is space limited?

Space is VERY limited at the Away Camps. Our team has a certain number of spaces reserved at the District camp with one opportunity in May to sell off spaces or grab more. Register ASAP to secure a spot!

Space at Camp Destiny is only limited by the number of leaders who volunteer with us!
